Try not to overload the drawing
Let’s put one thing clear. It is absolutely your business what you draw and how you draw it. We are not here to criticize your choice in any possible way. However when it comes to beginners, there are some gold standards and it’s wise if you stick to these so that your learning process can stay gradual ( step by step) instead of becoming eclectic and this way confusing.
- Stay with ‘Still life” compositions for a long while.
- Learn to draw sketches
- Learn how to draw sketches of living creatures such as plants, animals and then people
- Try to draw one-two-three objects all at once. Don’t try to draw more than these in the beginning or your drawing will have the tendency to become confusing.
- Draw with pencil as and when and then when you feel ready, start to learn about all different methods to painting.
